<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>About Us</strong></p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">We're building a new category of product: an AI-native platform that makes cloud operations dramatically more productive. Think of it as a "Claude Code moment" for infrastructure management — where every engineer, SRE, architect, and FinOps practitioner can triage issues faster, execute changes with confidence, and build institutional knowledge that doesn't disappear when people leave.</p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">We're early, ambitious, and still in stealth. You'll be one of the first designers shaping how this product looks and feels.</p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">As our Senior Product Designer, you'll own the end-to-end design of a complex, evidence-driven product where the stakes are high (production infrastructure) and the users are sophisticated (engineers and SREs). You won't have a manager telling you what to design — you'll be the person who figures that out, then builds it.</p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">You'll work directly with the founders and engineering team, moving fast without losing craft.</p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>What You'll Work On</strong></p>
<ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3">
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2"><strong>Designing for high-stakes workflows</strong>: Our users are making decisions about live infrastructure. You'll design interfaces where clarity, trust, and safety aren't nice-to-haves — they're the product.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2"><strong>AI-native interaction models</strong>: We're building a product where AI and humans collaborate on complex tasks. You'll design the interaction patterns that make this feel natural, not scary — separating intent from execution, surfacing evidence, and keeping humans in control.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2"><strong>A consistent object model</strong>: Our product has a deep, coherent object model (estates, findings, plans, runs, evidence). You'll translate this into a design system and screen set that feels unified and learnable across very different personas.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2"><strong>Building the design foundation</strong>: There's no design system yet. You'll create it — components, patterns, guidelines — from scratch, in close collaboration with engineering.</li>
</ul>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>
<ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3">
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">6+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of complex web application work — ideally enterprise software, developer tools, or infrastructure products.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">A systems thinker. You're comfortable holding a lot of state in your head: how a change on one screen ripples through five others, how a design decision today constrains the roadmap next year.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Fluency in interaction design for multi-step, stateful workflows — not just how things look, but how they sequence, where users pause, what they need to trust before they act.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong opinions about information density. Our users are power users. You know the difference between overwhelming and empowering.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Hands-on with Figma and comfortable prototyping interactive flows, not just static mocks.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience conducting user research and translating qualitative signals into design decisions.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team. You don't need a brief to get started — you can go from a rough problem statement to a concrete proposal.</li>
</ul>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>Bonus Points</strong></p>
<ul class="[li_&]:mb-0 [li_&]:mt-1 [li_&]:gap-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3">
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience designing for infrastructure, observability, or DevOps tooling.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic product patterns.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience in establishing a design system from zero in a startup environment.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">A portfolio that includes evidence-heavy or audit-trail interfaces (compliance tools, financial platforms, etc.).</li>
</ul>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]"><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">You thrive when the problem is genuinely hard. You care about the craft but aren't precious about it — you'll throw away a week of work if the user research says it's wrong. You've worked in high-trust, low-process environments before and know how to ship without sacrificing quality.</p>
