We strive to instill in all of our employees:</p> <ul> <li>A positive mental attitude that helps us to be a leader in the industry</li> <li>A commitment to building strong relationships, both inside and outside the organization</li> <li>A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to moving our strategy forward</li> <li>A need to create and to innovate</li> </ul></div><p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Employment Type:&nbsp;</strong><span style="color: #000000;">Regular Full-Time</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Shift:&nbsp;</strong><span style="color: #000000;">2nd Shift</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Status:&nbsp;</strong><span style="color: #000000;">On-site</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Position Summary</strong></span></p> <p>The Assembler B/Industrial Painter performs a variety of routine duties involved in the assembly, loading, packaging, painting and testing of various items in the heat transfer product line.</p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Works from drawings, travel tickets, and lean manufacturing visual control boards.</li> <li>Uses a variety of power hand tools such as wrenches and impact guns, tubing expanders, paint guns and lift tables.</li> <li>Assembles items in the heat transfer product line in accordance with specifications.&nbsp; Works closely with Assembler A’s to assure conformance with procedures and quality standards.</li> <li>Paints, packages, straps, assembles and palletize finished goods.</li> <li>Tests completed units on hydrostatic testing equipment.&nbsp; Monitors quality of work and reports equipment malfunctions, defective materials or other unusual conditions to supervisor.</li> <li>As a certified forklift operator, operates material handling equipment as required to move heavy weight material.</li> <li>Maintains all necessary records.&nbsp; Moves average weight materials as necessary in the performance of job.</li> <li>Maintains a clean and organized work area per company housekeeping standards and 5S policies and procedures.&nbsp; Follows all safety regulations and procedures.</li> <li>Performs other duties as required or directed</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to&nbsp;frequently lift or move material weighing over 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs.</li> <li>Aptitude to follow verbal and written instructions.</li> <li>Ability to read and follow written procedures and use of drawings and specifications where some interpretation is required.</li> <li>Knowledge&nbsp;of basic math, including decimals and fractions.</li> <li>Experience using&nbsp;variety of power tools and&nbsp;material handling equipment</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p> <p>The Assembler B will work primarily in a production setting where safety equipment or personal protective gear is required.
