Senior Integration Developer at Plative

<p>The Senior Integration Developer plays a critical role in leading complex and multidisciplinary iPaaS integration projects. In this role, you will partner with our consulting team to design, implement, and deploy data-centric solutions for clients across multiple industries and platforms. This position requires deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint and integration architecture, along with the ability to lead solution design discussions, guide project execution, and mentor junior developers.</p> <p>As a senior technical contributor, you will take ownership of complex integration solutions, facilitate technical discovery with clients, and ensure scalable, maintainable integration architectures. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to both internal teams and client stakeholders while driving best practices in integration design, development, and delivery.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integration and API solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.</li> <li>Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration architectures and implementation strategies.</li> <li>Facilitate discovery sessions and technical workshops with clients to understand system landscapes, integration requirements, and data flows.</li> <li>Own complex integration solutions from design through deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.</li> <li>Develop and implement integration patterns, APIs, middleware components, and orchestration logic using MuleSoft Anypoint middleware.</li> <li>Analyze source system data and conduct data mapping exercises to support migration and integration initiatives.</li> <li>Design and implement both real-time and batch integrations across cloud and enterprise systems.</li> <li>Lead development of custom code and complex functionality using MuleSoft, DataWeave, and supporting technologies.</li> <li>Develop best practices, reusable integration components, and design patterns for interfaces, APIs, rule engines, and middleware.</li> <li>Drive complex technical design conversations with clients and recommend configuration and architectural solutions aligned with best practices.</li> <li>Conduct demonstrations of complex integrations and system capabilities to client stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, consultants, and client technical teams to deliver integration solutions.</li> <li>Mentor and guide junior developers by reviewing code, assigning development tasks, and supporting their technical growth.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to enhance client solutions beyond initial scope, including cross-platform integrations and process improvements.</li> <li>Proactively flag project risks, technical limitations, or architectural concerns early and propose mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues within integration codebases and legacy configurations.</li> <li>Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture, design, implementation, and testing activities throughout project lifecycles.</li> <li>Stay current with emerging integration technologies, tools, and patterns and evaluate opportunities to apply them to client solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.</li> <li>5–8+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise integrations, including extensive experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.</li> <li>Strong expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.</li> <li>Experience configuring and managing MuleSoft runtime environments.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in DataWeave and MuleSoft development patterns.</li> <li>Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and modern integration architectures.</li> <li>Technical expertise in REST, SOAP, WSDL, and web service integration patterns.</li> <li>Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other SaaS or ERP platforms.</li> <li>Strong experience developing integrations using XML, JSON, SQL, and Java.</li> <li>Experience designing and implementing high-volume, highly scalable integration solutions.</li> <li>Strong understanding of error handling frameworks, connectors, listeners, and API management.</li> <li>Experience with real-time and batch integration patterns.</li> <li>Experience troubleshooting complex integration implementations and refactoring legacy codebases.</li> <li>Strong understanding of architecture design concepts including object-oriented design, logical and physical database architectures, and operating systems.</li> <li>Experience creating data contracts, integration diagrams, and data flow documentation to communicate complex system interactions.</li> <li>At least two MuleSoft certifications.</li> <li>Experience working with additional iPaaS or automation platforms such as Boomi, Workato, or Zapier is a plus.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.</li> <li>Passion for building
