We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to take on the role of Warehouse Technician. In this position, you will manage the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks, and handle additional tasks as assigned by the manager. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is primarily based onsite in Somerville, MA, with occasional work required in Lowell, MA. Essential responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, drum trucks, and occasionally forklifts</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist drivers by loading staged supplies and verifying their accuracy during the loading process</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Manage Shipping and Receiving tasks</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Distribute critical supplies to clients when needed</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Perform snow removal from trucks and property</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work closely with Logistics, Compliance, and Mechanics to ensure trucks have necessary permits and are fully operational</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Any other tasks required to support warehouse and logistics operations</li> </ul>  Basic Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">High school graduate or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Valid driver's license</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Manual driving experience</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Minimum 1 years of experience in warehouse operations, including truck loading</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Proficiency with computers</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation </li> <li>Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)  </li> <li>Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment  </li> <li>Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis  </li> <li>Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)  </li> <li>The Warehouse Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
