Junior Finance & Accounting Assistant (Summer job/Intern) at PSL Group

<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented trainee or student to join our finance team in our Luxembourg office near Cloche d’Or. This is a versatile role designed to give you hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are looking for a mandatory internship or a summer student job to complement your studies, we offer the opportunity to learn in an international environment with a great team.</p> <h4><strong>What you will do</strong></h4> <h4><strong>You will work closely with our Accounting Manager on a variety of missions, including:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Period-End Closings: Assisting with monthly and quarterly closing processes (clôtures) and ensuring data accuracy.</li> <li>Financial Analysis: Supporting the preparation of reports.</li> <li>Cash Management: Helping with daily treasury tasks, bank booking and bank reconciliations.</li> <li>Accounting Support: Assisting with invoice processing, expense reports, and general ledger maintenance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.</li> <li>A strong command of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) is essential. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.</li> <li>Fluency in English is required.</li> <li>You are organized, curious, and not afraid to dive into the numbers. You have a "can-do" attitude and enjoy working in a team.</li> </ul>
