As we continue to grow, the team plays a key role in building scalable processes while staying close to the day-to-day realities of the business.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The Role</span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">We’re looking for a <strong>Sr. Accounting Analyst</strong> to own prepaid expense reconciliations, lease accounting, and expense analysis across software, insurance, utilities, and general operating expenses.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">This role plays a key part in the monthly close, ensuring accurate accounting records, complete supporting documentation, and clear explanations of account variances. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, attention to detail, is adept at balance sheet account reconciliations and the ability to independently manage assigned processes.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The position reports directly to the Sr. Accounting Manager and is a full-time role.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Own the monthly close for assigned accounts, preparing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments within established deadlines.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prepares and maintains clear and well documented account reconciliations for their area of responsibility.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain lease accounting under ASC 842, including lease schedules, monthly entries, and reconciliations of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities using 3rd part lease accounting software.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Review lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and terminations, identifying accounting implications and coordinating the appropriate treatment with the Accounting Manager.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ensure proper classification and recording of rent, utilities, and other occupancy-related expenses based on contract terms and applicable accounting policies.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Own prepaid expense reconciliations and amortization schedules, ensuring expenses are recognized in the appropriate periods.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform monthly variance analysis for software, insurance, utilities, rent, and general operating expenses, investigating movements and providing clear, supported explanations.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Review invoices, contracts, and account activity to identify missing accruals, coding errors, and timing differences.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and proactively resolve outstanding items.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with Accounts Payable, FP&amp;A, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to obtain timely information and ensure accurate expense recognition.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain process documentation and support internal controls across assigned areas.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit roles.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Advanced English skills, with the ability to communicate accounting matters clearly in writing and verbally.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience preparing prepaid expense reconciliations and
