Join us!</p></div><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science or business with 12+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, including specialty product launches</li> <li>Significant experience partnering with and leading raw material, small molecule drug substance, bulk drug product, and final packaging suppliers</li> <li>Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, packaging and labeling, serialization, and distribution</li> <li>Expertise in strategic global supply chain, commercial manufacturing, and supplier relationship management in a virtual environment</li> <li>Proven track record and expertise in the launch preparation and supply of specialty pharmaceutical products, including Schedule II-V controlled drugs</li> <li>Experience establishing systems used to support commercial products in a first launch environment, including inventory and supply planning software</li> <li>Knowledge of channel strategy design and implementation, including both hub and wholesaler models</li> <li>Working understanding of current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), current good distribution practices (cGDPs), and relevant guidance for the supply of commercial products (i.e. DSCSA)</li> <li>Strong initiative, accountability, independence and willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion</li> <li>Ability to effectively build relationships to partner both externally and internally, including with Quality, Trade and Distribution, Pharmaceutical Development, Compliance, and Program Management</li> <li>Capability and vision to think strategically, coupled with the drive to implement, collaborate, and contribute across disciplines</li> <li>Experience supporting sales &amp; operations planning processes across functions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>The Senior Director of Commercial Supply Chain Strategy will be accountable for the global commercial supply chain function, commercial supplier oversight, and deliverables supporting launch and on-going supply for Definium products</li> <li>This role will provide leadership and vision in leveraging processes, technology and partnerships to solve business problems, build capability, meet commercial supply chain requirements, and drive supply chain maturity</li> <li>Develop and maintain end-to-end global supply chain strategy and supply network from drug substance through to finished drug product</li> <li>Oversee management of commercial contract manufacturers suppliers and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost reduction</li> <li>Work directly with external manufacturers and packaging organizations stakeholders to establish commercial supply agreements, meet commercial supply demand, and plan for future forecast</li> <li>Develop a strong partnership with Trade and Distribution to select and oversee third party logistics providers, and contribute to ensuring efficient delivery of product to end customers</li> <li>Lead end to end value chain planning - inventory management across raw materials, drug substance, drug products and finished goods</li> <li>Implement and integrate serialization solution through supply and distribution network that meets most recent DSCSA compliance requirements</li> <li>Develop and optimize processes and systems (i.e. ERP) by working directly with commercial, pharmaceutical development, quality, and finance to ensure short and long-term manufacturing supply needs are met</li> <li>Develop risk mitigation strategies which enable uninterrupted supply &amp; business continuity</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>The starting base pay range for this position is $230,152.00 - $272,841.00. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.</p> <p>Employees in this role may be entitled to additional compensation, including bonus and equity.
