The team is responsible for functions like planning and on-time delivery of customer freight while controlling costs and providing excellent customer communication. The ideal&nbsp;candidate can use statistical data to drive efficiency as well&nbsp;as use&nbsp;root cause analysis tools to improve business processes and exceed customer expectations. This&nbsp;associate manager will work closely with stakeholders in the US and/or Canada. Cross-cultural collaboration is&nbsp;a must&nbsp;for&nbsp;manager&nbsp;and team members.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What the Candidate Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise day-to-day activities of team members &nbsp;</li> <li>Schedule staff and distribute workload – work closely with US and/or Canadian stakeholders&nbsp;to meet business&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Associate managers may need to cover work for their team members and may have 30% of time dedicated to production responsibilities &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure team members meet daily goals and&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;individual and team performance &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop,&nbsp;implement&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;effective processes &nbsp;</li> <li>Proactively generate and share ideas that lead to process efficiency and customer experience improvement &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and distribute customer and internal performance management reports &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop strong relationships across&nbsp;organization &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop team members by&nbsp;providing&nbsp;training opportunities, projects,&nbsp;mentoring&nbsp;and coaching &nbsp;</li> <li>Create and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;strong team&nbsp;culture in line with Uber Freight values and behaviors &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Comply with the internal mobility Policy</li> <li>Advanced English, verbal and written</li> <li>3 years of LOGISTICS (transportation management, brokerage, warehouse, supply chain, etc.) experience WITH increasing level of responsibility.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to&nbsp;anticipate&nbsp;and resolve problems using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to&nbsp;establish&nbsp;priorities, work&nbsp;independently&nbsp;and&nbsp;proceed&nbsp;with&nbsp;objectives&nbsp;without supervision.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent people skills, communication, and organizational skills.&nbsp;  &nbsp;</li> <li>Forward thinking.
