As an Environmental Technician, you will support our clients on-site by assisting in managing their hazardous waste programs & projects, utilizing state & federal regulations.  Triumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. This role is based onsite at a client location in Germantown, WI.  Responsibilities:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Perform technical hazardous and non-hazardous containerized waste pick-ups and material movement from production areas and laboratories as well as assist the Program Manager with the segregation and packing of chemicals by hazard class during lab pack projects</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Conduct routine inventories of site waste accumulation areas</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Become proficient in bulk Tanker loading from Hazardous Waste tanks in tank farm</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Preparation of chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including assisting the Program Manager with creation of all federal/state waste documents and managing the paperwork for the material</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Safe handling of hazardous waste containers on client sites, as well as loading/unloading of waste from vehicles </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Conduct chemical consolidations in central accumulation areas and production areas in required levels of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Properly maintain and don the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required by each unique work environment encountered</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Prepare and label containers according to regulatory requirements and company policies</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Champion our commitment to the WOW! by providing outstanding support and innovative solutions to our clients </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Develop strong working knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements ensuring our client’s compliance needs are met (e.g RCRA, DOT, and OSHA) </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Coordinate and communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies regarding waste management processes</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate’s Health and Safety practices </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Support onsite Program Manager with various other tasks as needed to ensure a safe and compliant operating program</li> </ul> Basic Requirements:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience or relevant military experience </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional exchanges of information </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must be able to maintain good attendance and punctuality</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies to achieve positive outcomes </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Skilled in building strong, positive relationships with clients and colleagues </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Ability to work overtime on a regular basis </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday) </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">The Environmental Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
