Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Split Shift) at Rocket EMS

<p data-start="377" data-end="854">As a&nbsp;<strong data-start="508" data-end="540">Shipping and Receiving Clerk</strong>, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.</p> <h3 data-start="861" data-end="889"><strong data-start="865" data-end="889">Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul data-start="890" data-end="1933"> <li data-start="890" data-end="1031"> <p data-start="892" data-end="1031">Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods; verify quantities and part numbers against packing lists and purchase orders.</p> </li> <li data-start="1032" data-end="1156"> <p data-start="1034" data-end="1156">Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies; escalate issues to Materials or Quality teams as needed.</p> </li> <li data-start="1157" data-end="1258"> <p data-start="1159" data-end="1258">Accurately log receipts into the ERP/MRP system and deliver materials to appropriate departments.</p> </li> <li data-start="1259" data-end="1422"> <p data-start="1261" data-end="1422">Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).</p> </li> <li data-start="1423" data-end="1531"> <p data-start="1425" data-end="1531">Generate shipping labels and documentation using <strong data-start="1474" data-end="1483">FedEx</strong>, <strong data-start="1485" data-end="1492">UPS</strong>, and <strong data-start="1498" data-end="1528">customer-specified portals</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1532" data-end="1608"> <p data-start="1534" data-end="1608">Schedule carrier pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.</p> </li> <li data-start="1609" data-end="1718"> <p data-start="1611" data-end="1718">Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring materials are properly identified and stored.</p> </li> <li data-start="1719" data-end="1808"> <p data-start="1721" data-end="1808">Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement transactions as needed.</p> </li> <li data-start="1809" data-end="1933"> <p data-start="1811" data-end="1933">Coordinate with production control, purchasing, and quality to resolve shipping/receiving issues quickly and accurately.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="1940" data-end="1962"><strong data-start="1944" data-end="1962">Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul data-start="1963" data-end="2674"> <li data-start="1963" data-end="2040"> <p data-start="1965" data-end="2040">High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.</p> </li> <li data-start="2041" data-end="2179"> <p data-start="2043" data-end="2179"><strong data-start="2043" data-end="2068">1+ year of experience</strong> in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment).</p> </li> <li data-start="2180" data-end="2279"> <p data-start="2182" data-end="2279">Familiarity with <strong data-start="2199" data-end="2250">ESD handling, barcoding, and labeling standards</strong> for electronic assemblies.</p> </li> <li data-start="2280" data-end="2365"> <p data-start="2282" data-end="2365">Experience using <strong data-start="2299" data-end="2321">FedEx Ship Manager</strong>, <strong data-start="2323" data-end="2340">UPS WorldShip</strong>, or similar platforms.</p> </li> <li data-start="2366" data-end="2504"> <p data-start="2368" data-end="2504">Proficiency with <strong data-start="2385" data-end="2416">basic computer applications</strong> (Excel, Word, email) and ERP systems (experience with manufacturing software a plus).</p> </li> <li data-start="2505" data-end="2609"> <p data-start="2507" data-end="2609">Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.</p> </li> <li data-start="2610" data-end="2674"> <p data-start="2612" data-end="2674">Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.</p> </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$18</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$22 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>ITAR/EAR Compliance:</strong> Due to the nature of the work performed at Rocket EMS, this position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
