We’re one of the largest engineering and system integration firms in the United States providing value for our clients through IT automation and control solutions for more than 30 years to the Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals & Mining, Warehousing & Distribution, and CPG/Food & Beverage industries. Our national and global scale allows us to help our clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any of their facilities regardless of physical location or the local resources available at that site.   We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large project or multiple project efforts, which may include subcontractors, high dollar value material content and multiple resources.  Your responsibilities will include the management and coordination of the design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning phases of projects, including the commercial, financial, and technical success of the project. You will take a leadership role in developing project proposals and vetting project cost estimates. You will develop and communicate a clear understanding of the client’s project goals and maintain the company’s alignment to these goals, enabling your team to exceed client expectations and budgeted profitability. You will:   <ul> <li>Manage multi-million dollar in projects annually supporting company determined strategies.</li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously with different magnitudes of schedules, budgets, and constraints.</li> <li>Manage Client Communication – Ensure effective communication between the client, the project team, ETG Business Development, and the ETG management team at all phases of the project.</li> <li>Be effective at resolving scope, schedule, and cost issues as they arise.</li> <li>Manage and mitigate project execution risk</li> <li>Produce project proposals and estimates and review project execution plans for project executability and risk mitigation.</li> <li>Develop project schedules and project plans: Develop the project labor resource plan and procurement plan to meet the client’s schedule objective and project cash flow requirements.</li> <li>Drive Scope – Maintain firm control of scope of compliance, change management,  and contract requirements. Ensure that scope is well defined and communicated, and proactively obtain any required Change Orders, develop additional scope opportunities which may serve the client’s objective.</li> <li>Maintain Cost – Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports; manage estimated cost at completion, earned value, and contingency.</li> <li>Forecast monthly project costs avoiding cost overruns.</li> <li>Work with the Engineering Department and Engineering Manager to plan for resources, engineer’s availability, project schedules, training, etc.</li> <li>Attend project/job walks, start-ups, commissioning, project close out meetings, etc.</li> <li>Participate in internal PMO meetings</li> <li>Lead the Project Team – In collaboration with the project Technical Lead, manage the project team in achieving the project tasks and milestones on schedule and under budget.</li> <li>Work closely with the Operations group to ensure that the right resources are assigned to the project at the optimal time. Communicate project progress to the team and to the client and be an effective advocate for the project team.
