This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Azure. You will guide the migration of complex systems to cloud-native environments, set architectural standards, and help the engineering teams deliver scalable and reliable solutions.</p> <p>This is not a DevOps-only role. We need a technically strong engineer who can lead architecture decisions, contribute to coding when necessary, and collaborate across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure teams.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, enjoys solving migration challenges, and can balance hands-on work with strategic architectural guidance.</p> </div> <h3><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead the migration of systems to cloud-native platforms, primarily Azure</li> <li>Own and drive architecture decisions across a Kubernetes-based platform</li> <li>Serve as the go-to expert for Kubernetes design, scaling, and optimization</li> <li>Define and implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, observability, and reliability</li> <li>Mentor engineering teams and guide technical discussions</li> <li>Ensure that migrated systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable</li> <li>Balance long-term architectural vision with hands-on execution during the migration</li> <li>Collaborate on backend services (Golang) and frontend integrations (React) as needed</li> </ul> <h3><strong>&nbsp;Some Must-Haves:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of professional software engineering experience</li> <li>Deep expertise in Kubernetes (design, scaling, troubleshooting, production operations)</li> <li>Strong Azure experience</li> <li>Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture</li> <li>Experience operating production systems with high reliability standards</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives</li> <li>Strong English (written and verbal)</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have:&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Backend development experience in Golang</li> <li>Familiarity with frontend technologies (React)</li> </ul> <div> <h3><strong>Where We're Looking For It:</strong></h3> Brazil</div> <div>Open to 100% Fully Remote</div> <h3><strong>Other Information</strong></h3> <p>The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
