You run an outcome-driven delivery loop that determines whether work becomes core product, a repeatable capability, or is explicitly sunset.</p> <p>This role ensures innovation strengthens the platform — rather than fragmenting it.</p> <h5><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h5> <h5><strong>Own the POC-to-Product Loop</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Translate ambiguous customer requirements into structured Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)</li> <li>Define sequencing, acceptance criteria, and measurable definitions of “done”</li> <li>Scope and prioritize within constrained POC timelines</li> <li>Define user workflows, metric definitions, dimensions, and success criteria</li> <li>Partner with Engineering in a build → deploy → measure → iterate cadence</li> <li>Identify and reconcile deltas between intended and observed system behavior</li> <li>Drive formal decisioning: productize, standardize, or stop</li> </ul> <h5><strong>Drive Structured Execution</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Prioritize scope in partnership with Engineering</li> <li>Unblock technical and product decisions</li> <li>Maintain alignment between commercial expectations and engineering delivery</li> <li>Protect product integrity while operating under time pressure</li> </ul> <h5><strong>Apply Analytics &amp; Insight Rigor</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Ensure metrics and instrumentation accurately reflect customer intent</li> <li>Validate that data models represent what stakeholders believe they represent</li> <li>Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to drive product decisions</li> <li>Translate complex system behavior into clear, high-impact narratives for technical and executive audiences</li> <li>Tell compelling, data-driven stories that align stakeholders around outcomes</li> </ul> <h5><strong>Risk Mitigation &amp; Systems Thinking</strong></h5> <p>FDEs safeguard Conviva against common failure modes in customer-driven innovation:</p> <ul> <li>Drift between Sales expectations and Engineering delivery</li> <li>Unbounded bespoke work without a path to productization</li> <li>Ambiguous or misaligned measurement definitions</li> <li>Core engineering bottlenecks created by configuration complexity</li> </ul> <p>You act as the control mechanism that keeps delivery disciplined, measurable, and scalable.</p> <h5><strong>Who You Are</strong></h5> <h5><strong>Required</strong></h5> <ul> <li>5+ years in Product Management, Forward Deployed Engineering, Sales Engineering or a similar role with strong product ownership</li> <li>Demonstrated experience translating ambiguity into executable requirements</li> <li>Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate deeply with Product Managers and Engineers</li> <li>Analytical rigor — comfortable defining metrics, validating instrumentation, and interpreting system-level data</li> <li>Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders</li> <li>Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability</li> <li>Ability to operate effectively under delivery and revenue pressure</li> </ul> <h5><strong>Preferred</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Experience with analytics platforms, AI/ML systems, or agentic workflows</li> <li>Experience converting experimental or bespoke work into scalable product capabilities</li> <li>Background in high-growth SaaS environments</li> </ul> <h5><strong>How We Measure Success</strong></h5> <p>A successful FDE:</p> <ul> <li>Increases conversion rate and reduces conversion time in pre-sales POCs</li> <li>Converts POCs into structured, defensible product decisions</li> <li>Increases reuse and standardization across customer engagements</li> <li>Reduces product debt from bespoke work</li> <li>Improves alignment between revenue, product, and engineering teams</li> <li>Elevates the quality and clarity of data-driven decision making</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Conviva</strong></p> <p>You will work at the frontier of agentic intelligence and analytics -&nbsp; shaping how customer signals become autonomous, scalable product capability.
