This is a full-time, in-person position.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a full range of preconstruction activities, including estimating, design management, and subcontractor procurement.</li> <li>Prepare and organize estimates under multiple contract delivery methods to ensure complete and competitive proposals.</li> <li>Develop accurate and professional bids/proposals that support clients and secure new projects.</li> <li>Prepare comparative analyses of estimates and explain variances to project stakeholders.</li> <li>Coordinate teams of Project Engineers to develop multidisciplinary estimates.</li> <li>Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids and provide recommendations for award.</li> <li>Evaluate and apply historical project information, including self-performed work.</li> <li>Lead responses to RFPs and represent Holder at meetings and industry events.</li> <li>Create, update, and present project deliverables and tools to clients.</li> <li>Lead meetings with owners, architects, and engineers during the preconstruction phase.</li> <li>Collaborate with Operations to drive process improvements using VDC, IPD, and other enhancements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related construction/engineering field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.</li> <li>Willingness to relocate.</li> <li>Experience leading a team of Project Engineers or Estimators.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and time management skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change professionally.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and effective meeting management.</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to develop and lead teams, enabling others to act and encouraging high performance.</li> <li>Experience in presenting ideas clearly and handling confrontation constructively.</li> <li>Willingness to accept and provide constructive feedback.</li> <li>Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.</li> <li>Ability to engage with clients, vendors, and industry partners to maintain positive relationships.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Holder is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE).</span></span></p> <p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text">​</span><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment and&nbsp;Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.</span></span></p></div>
