Senior Crew Chief - Construction Staking at McAdams

This position supervises survey crew employees ensuring all work is completed efficiently and successfully, all while following established McAdams’s guidelines for field work delivery.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Knowledgeable of the various disciplines of construction staking / surveying and accurately and effectively perform required tasks during a project</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Follow company standards and guidelines for surveying and / or construction staking</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide technical guidance to other Geomatics team members</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Knowledgeable of the various disciplines of construction staking / surveying that are needed to accurately and effectively perform required tasks&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Lead and coordinate the daily activities of multiple crews on large projects and ensure daily project goals are met</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Possess the technical knowledge to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Competence of the functions of CAD and Carlson Software; familiarity with the process and function of field to finish, construction staking computations, and traverse adjustments</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide clear and concise direction to fellow crew members and ensure crew members perform daily tasks and interact with clients in a professional manner</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Responsible for all assigned survey equipment. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cared for</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Inform group manager when instrument calibrations are needed to ensure continual accuracy in work</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Maintain assigned work vehicle.
