They will be integral in expanding our pipeline and selling our solutions to hedge funds and/or institutional asset managers. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Maintain an in-depth understanding of Arcesium’s business and functional domain in order to facilitate effective conversations with prospective clients </li> <li>Exhibit expert client segment and product knowledge, industry knowledge, and offer unique perspectives and insights to drive market engagement </li> <li>Be highly creative and proactive in developing new business </li> <li>Manage the sales cycle starting with lead generation and qualification through proposal development and deal closure </li> <li>Lead deal teams, ensuring the right mix of resources are appropriately deployed through the sales lifecycle </li> <li>Engage in proactive, thoughtful deal management by employing creative thinking, diligent research, and meticulous planning at each touchpoint </li> <li>Structure and negotiate complex deals that typically involve a mix of commercial product and custom configuration, often mapped against unique client requirements </li> <li>Follow a defined sales process based on best practices, to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience </li> <li>Participate in conferences and Arcesium sponsored marketing initiatives (some travel will be required) </li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in a quota-carrying sales role that involves prospecting, developing leads, and negotiating complex commercial structure </li> <li>Experience selling to hedge funds and/or institutional asset management firms is required. A deep understanding of their operational processes and workflows is preferred</li> <li>An established record of selling complex fintech solutions, with a specific focus on demonstrating the value of a comprehensive front-to-back office architecture </li> <li>This individual must come with a strong network and have fintech or fund services experience </li> <li>They must be proactive, highly analytical, and a driven self-starter with superior sales abilities </li> <li>Familiarity with common financial services technology ecosystems (Bloomberg, FactSet, SimCorp, Charles River, etc.) a plus </li> </ul> The expected annual base salary for this position is $160,000-$210,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation, benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching. The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
