In addition, the Survey Technician will maintain close communications with the Phase Manager and Crew Coordinator, supply accurate field data, maintain field notes and files, and assist in the review of final drawings.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-teams="true">We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. &nbsp;Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.</span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment and software, including Trimble total stations, GNSS receivers, terrestrial scanners, and modern survey/design/mapping platforms</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Conduct field surveys in accordance with established safety standards and company guidelines</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Prepare clear and accurate field notes, sketches, and daily documentation</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Research and interpret prior survey records, including maps, deeds, and physical evidence, to support fieldwork</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Perform survey calculations using field controllers, data collectors, or manual computation as needed</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Collect, record, and verify survey data, ensuring accuracy through proper field checks and quality control procedures</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Transfer and transmit field data to the office from remote job sites in a timely manner</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Represent Woolpert professionally while working on client sites and in the field</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Execute field survey tasks efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with project requirements and schedules</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Apply sound field practices and ensure proper care, maintenance, and use of all survey equipment</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>What You Will Bring:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">2+ years of experience using conventional, robotic, or related surveying equipment is preferred but not required. Candidates will be evaluated on personal initiative as well as experience.</span></li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Prior experience using Trimble GPS and Survey Controller</span></li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Required to have satisfactory results on a Motor Vehicle Record check and maintain a valid driver’s license.</span></li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Must be open to travel 75% or more to remote field locations, including overnight stays, as needed.
