Our mission is to identify, approach, and onboard new hotel partners, ensuring they are successfully launched and visible on Agoda’s platform. We believe that growing our network of quality hotels is essential to delivering the best possible experience for our customers. As the first point of contact for potential partners, we act as trusted advisors—sharing market insights, best practices, and innovative solutions to help hotels maximize their success on Agoda. Leveraging Agoda’s industry-leading technology and global expertise, we collaborate closely with both local and international teams to drive growth and create value for our partners, our customers, and Agoda.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In this role, you will join us as a "Account Specialist", working with the support of an experienced team to learn from the ground up.</p> <p><strong>You'll learn how to</strong>:&nbsp;</p> <p>- Identify and research potential new hotel partners in target regions across Japan.<br>- Proactively reach out to hotel owners and decision-makers via calls, emails, and in-person visits.<br>- Present Agoda’s value proposition and negotiate commercial terms to onboard new hotels.<br>- Guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring their properties are set up for success and go live on Agoda’s platform.<br>- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.<br>- Provide market insights and best practices to help partners maximize their performance on Agoda.<br>- Track and report on acquisition activities, pipeline, and results using CRM tools.<br>- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities, and use this to drive discussion with partners on maintaining a competitive edge.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll need to succeed:</strong></p> <p>- Bilingual in Japanese and English: you must be able to conduct business communication effectively in both languages.&nbsp;<br>- Curiosity- you are interested to gain a deep understanding of how the travel tech industry works.&nbsp;<br>- An analytical mindset.&nbsp;<br>- Be comfortable working under pressure, in a rapidly-changing, but exciting, environment<br>- The ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, and an openness to change in responsibilities and workflows, as needed by the business.&nbsp;<br>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br>- Be autonomous, proactive, and confident.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's great if you have internship or part-time work experience working in the OTA or travel/technology sector, but experimentation and fresh ideas are at the heart of what Agoda stands for- so we're open to meeting students with a variety of experiences.
