This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; the ability to self-direct; client representation experience; and a solid foundation in project management fundamentals. Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and across multiple regions. A strong background in data center development, design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements is a significant advantage.  You will play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work—this includes strategy development, positioning, proposal writing, and contract negotiations.  We are looking to bring in dedicated individuals with a passion for innovation and a talent for multitasking in a fast-paced environment. We will help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what inspires you so we can make a big impact on the world, together.  RESPONSIBILITIES  <ul> <li>Be well-versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organizations; possess an understanding of engineering, design, procurement and contracting, safety, construction, and commissioning </li> <li>Establish strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with both technical and management-level personnel </li> <li>Manage assigned work from start to close-out, covering all aspects of project delivery to ensure timely and effective execution </li> <li>Prepare PowerPoint presentations and report to management on progress, findings, and recommendations </li> <li>Review project plans, requirements, and specifications </li> <li>Prepare RFPs and support the contractor selection and contract award process </li> <li>Work with contractors to establish CPM baseline schedules </li> <li>Perform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource constraints </li> <li>Identify project risks, gaps, and opportunities; provide recommendations to stakeholders to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities </li> <li>Facilitate, lead, and chair project meetings (including OAC meetings); maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items </li> <li>Review and validate project progress, contractor pay applications, and invoices </li> <li>Conduct financial and technical appraisals of project options; perform feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers, engineers, superintendents, and construction managers as needed </li> <li>Support business development efforts by contributing to strategy, positioning, proposals, and contract negotiations </li> <li>Perform other related duties as required and assigned </li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS  Required Qualifications:  <ul> <li>10+ years of construction management experience within mission-critical environments </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural engineering, project management, or a related technical field </li> <li>Strong understanding of construction and CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) disciplines </li> <li>Prior hyperscale data center development and construction experience </li> <li>Solid working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems/components </li> <li>Experience developing a wide range of reports for different audiences </li> <li>Experience in client-facing roles </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to understand technical and complex construction programs and communicate progress clearly to both technical and executive audiences </li> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to any audience </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Construction Management </li> <li>Experience with Earned Value Management </li> <li>Active membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar associations </li> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification </li> <li>Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification </li> </ul> POSITION DETAILS  <ul> <li>Location (On-site):  <ul> <li>South Padre Island, Texas</li> <li>Amarillo, Texas</li> </ul> </li> <li>Position: Construction Manager (Civil, Structural, Architectural) </li> <li>Position Classification: Salary-based full-time hours </li> <li>Current work permit required.
