<p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p><br>Unifying newly acquired companies into the core Abacus technical environment. You’ll&nbsp;handle the technical heavy lifting—migrating Microsoft 365 tenants, moving identities&nbsp;(SSO), consolidating file storage, and merging communication tools.&nbsp;As part of a newly forming team, your initial focus will span both M&amp;A execution and&nbsp;foundational platform engineering. This will involve supporting the Abacus hosted&nbsp;services, endpoint environments, and end‑user experience. Focuses on automation,&nbsp;standardization, security posture. This will be temporarily as these services transition toanother team.&nbsp;Once fully established, your focus will center on unifying newly acquired companies intothe Abacus environment: migrating Microsoft 365 tenants, moving identities (SSO),&nbsp;consolidating file storage, and merging communication tools.&nbsp;Equally important to the technical execution is clear, proactive communication. A smooth&nbsp;migration depends on preparing incoming teams for what’s changing, setting&nbsp;expectations, and guiding them through Day 1.&nbsp;We don't expect you to be a deep subject matter expert in every single technology on day&nbsp;one. What we do need is a versatile engineer with strong foundational knowledge of&nbsp;modern Microsoft cloud ecosystems, identity tools, and migration workflows who enjoys&nbsp;solving practical IT integration problems.&nbsp;As M&amp;A cutovers must take place with minimal downtime to business operations, this role&nbsp;does require some flexibility in working hours, including scheduled evening and weekend&nbsp;work during migration windows.
