Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.</p></div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br>ANSER is seeking a<strong> Program Manager </strong>to manage the daily activities for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Matters ODASW(NM). In this key role, you will manage a diverse 25+ person team of analysts and subject matter experts who provide support across the various ODASW(NM) directorates.<br><br>This position requires all job duties be performed full-time onsite at both the Pentagon an Suffolk Building in Falls Church, VA with no hybrid or remote work options.<br><br><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and prioritize staff workloads based on ODASW(NM) requirements and priorities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure seamless communications across the contractor support team and between the ODASW(NM) on contractor support tasks.</li> <li>Hire and retain personnel to support the ODASW(NM) and manage personnel task assignments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate ODASW(NM) tasks and ensure effective personnel collaborations to produce high-quality products.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all tasks.</li> <li>Ensure product peer review to ensure quality control.</li> <li>Review product submission for high-visibility deliverables.</li> <li>Conduct personnel management duties, such as performance counseling, timekeeping approval, etc.</li> <li>Advocate for the contractor support team and serve as the primary interface with the ODASW(NM).</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.</li> <li>Master's degree in any field.</li> <li>15+ years’ experience within the US nuclear enterprise.</li> <li>10+ years of documented experience in leadership, management, oversight, and/or program management.</li> <li>Experience working in an Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) environment.</li> <li>Experience managing personnel and personnel workloads across diverse portfolios and tasks.</li> <li>Experience navigating complex issues involving multiple stakeholders with competing interests in a fast-paced work environment.</li> <li>Experience engaging and communicating with senior Government and military leaders.</li> <li>Experience delivering timely and accurate written products (e.g., memos, briefs, reports) for senior leaders and executive management.</li> <li>Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience successfully managing several direct reports across multiple functional areas.</li> <li>Experience managing contracts and familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).</li> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li> <li>Previous programmatic experience, including program management, product realization teams, and cost/schedule development.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of DoW and Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) programming, planning, budgeting, and financial processes.</li> <li>Experience working in the areas of nuclear weapons, forensics, surety, and energy.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</p> <p>In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or e-mail&nbsp;<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a></p> <p>ANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
