They will ensure Clinical Technologists perform high-quality, team-based patient care for both clinical and administrative functions. The Clinical Technologist Lead must be proficient in all the roles and responsibilities of a Clinical Technologist to be considered for this role.</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Act as the subject matter expert and oversee Clinical Technologist responsibilities and duties within the Clinical Technologist scope of practice.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Oversight of onboarding, competency assessment, and ongoing training of all Clinical Technologists in the market.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Travel to assigned clinics as requested by supervisor or Clinical Program Manager.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the trainer and educational resource to Clinical Technologists including training new employees and coaching employees identified as needing additional training.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Provide oversight and final sign-off for new hire Clinical Technologists.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Understand and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and workflows within scope of practice and scope of responsibility.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">When not actively engaged in coaching or training, assist other staff members with their duties in the spirit of teamwork to ensure effective and efficient clinic operations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership on implementation of Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Complete assigned peer chart audits and submit to clinical and operational supervisor.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure appropriate medication and supplies are available for clinic operations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Oversee inventory is completed in each assigned clinic and information sent to supply chain team by requested date.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Assist with interviews of Clinical Technologists, as requested.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Work in conjunction with Facility Administrator and Clinical Program Manger on Clinical Technologists feedback sessions and annual reviews.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Drive efficient patient flow; use eCW to update patient status throughout visit, promptly rooms patients, perform patient verification process, obtain and documents vital signs, take patient photos, and turn over patient rooms.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrate and promote a work culture committed to UVVC’s Core Values: Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with UVVC’s Standards of Conduct as outlined in our Employee Handbook.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively identify areas of risk.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Fill in as a Clinical Technologist on a temporary and limited basis, during critical staffing shortages.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Maintains the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Other related duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Qualifications&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Current State or Multi-State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">&nbsp;Minimum of two years of experience as a nurse in a patient care setting; Previous experience as a Clinical Lead strongly preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Have mastery of standard operating procedures related to: Infection control practices, sterile technique, steam sterilizers (autoclaves), supply management, medication safety and preparation, patient and team safety initiatives and documentation electronic medical record.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Expert computer skills and electronic medical records documentation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to manage activities of the team and motivate others in a team environment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;">For internal candidates, employment status must be in good standing; no recent disciplinary actions.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;"><strong>About us:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">UVVC, is a leading provider of comprehensive vein and vascular care with over 60 clinics across Arizona, Illinois, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and expanding.
