It’s <strong>The</strong> <strong>Iron Bow Way.</strong></p></div><p><strong><u>THE OPPORTUNITY</u></strong></p> <p>Storage Engineer will architect, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale storage solutions supporting the Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization environment. This includes design and optimization of block, file, and object storage systems used for production, disaster recovery, and archival functions.&nbsp; The candidate will also validate storage architecture performance, provide performance tuning, and ensure high availability and data protection across mission-critical workloads</p> <p><strong><u>HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Selected candidate will serve as Storage Engineer to architect, implement and maintain enterprise-scale storage solutions supporting the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs RedHat OpenShift Virtualization environment</li> <li>Responsible for the deployment and sustainment of advanced software defined storage systems</li> <li>Deploy, integrate and manage large-scale persistent storage environments into containerized and virtualized environments.</li> <li>Develop and adhere to processes and best-practices for efficient Day-2 operations</li> <li>Leverage and contribute to automation and orchestration of the environment</li> <li>Lead multiple project initiatives from small to large complex within environment</li> <li>Tackle critical customer escalations as the technical point of contact</li> <li>Assist with both high-level and low-level design documentations</li> <li>Effectively work independently and within a team environment</li> <li>Perform sustainment activities such as code upgrades, STIG compliance, cybersecurity incident response, outage troubleshooting, customer onboarding, and configuration optimization</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep expertise in enterprise storage platforms, including, but not limited to, NetApp ONTAP systems including FAS/AFF, Dell PowerStore, and Pure FlashBlade and FlashArray Storage</li> <li>Architecture experience with software-defined storage systems including ONTAP Select, vSAN, VxRail, HyperFlex, Cohesity, and Ctera.</li> <li>Experience integrating persistent storage into containerized and virtualized environments (VMware vSphere and Tanzu, Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes)</li> <li>Proficiency in storage provisioning, snapshotting, replication, and disaster recovery design</li> <li>Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, FC, NVMe-oF, REST) and associated performance characteristics</li> <li>Experience automating storage provisioning via Ansible, Container Storage Interface (CSI) drivers, or Kubernetes storage classes</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and capacity issues across hybrid or converged infrastructures</li> <li>10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage engineering roles</li> <li>US citizen able to obtain VA Public Trust clearance</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p> <p>10%</p> <p><strong><u>WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>You will be a key member of the technical team supporting one of the customers’ top 10 Programs. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.</p> <p>Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow’s total compensation package.
