This role blends hands-on sewing line operations with efficient packaging responsibilities, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of production. All team members will begin their training in strap manufacturing/packing and remain until a satisfactory knowledge of our products is acquired. We produce a wide range of products, so attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused in a repetitive environment is critical.     <h3>Physical Requirements:   </h3> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.</li> <li>Regular team lifting of materials over 60 lbs in accordance with safety guidelines.</li> <li>Sit or stand for the majority of the shift.</li> <li>Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting.</li> <li>Operate hand tools and material handling equipment safely.</li> <li>Perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.</li> </ul> <h2>Primary areas of focus within our Manufacturing:   </h2> Tie Down (Strap Manufacturing)    <ul> <li>Read and understand work orders. </li> <li>Audit orders for accuracy.  </li> <li>Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble transportation tie-down straps. </li> <li>Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. </li> <li>Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. </li> <li>Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.    </li> </ul> Tie Down Packing   <ul> <li>Maintain order accuracy through proper documentation and organization.  </li> <li>Pack numerous different orders efficiently and accurately off of a conveyor belt, ensuring products are prepared for shipment in a timely manner. </li> <li>Lift 50ilbs repeatedly. Able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.  </li> <li>Utilizing NetSuite and ShipHawk software to manage production records, entering completion data, building work orders and updating inventory. </li> <li> Follow Lean manufacturing principles to help reduce waste and improve efficiency in packing and overall processes.  </li> <li>Communicating effectively with team members and working to ensure a smooth flow of operations. </li> <li>Comfortable working in a high-speed, fast-paced environment with frequent task changes. </li> </ul> Cargo Nets    <ul> <li>Read and understand work orders. </li> <li>Audit orders for accuracy.  </li> <li>Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble cargo nets. </li> <li>Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. </li> <li>Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. </li> <li>Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.    </li> <li>Pack cargo nets: must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.  </li> </ul> Nylon Slings    <ul> <li>Read and understand work orders. </li> <li>Audit orders for accuracy.  </li> <li>Operate sewing machines to assemble transportation Nylon Slings. </li> <li>Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. </li> <li>Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. </li> <li>Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.    </li> <li>Pack nylon slings: Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.    </li> </ul> As a growing team, you should be prepared to perform other duties as assigned at any time. <h3>Equipment</h3> Ability to learn/operate powered industrial equipment, such as
