In this role, you will be embedded within a&nbsp;development pod, supporting our Narrative Design team and testing related&nbsp;gameplay systems. You will take ownership of test planning and execution, as well&nbsp;as providing clear, actionable feedback to the team.</p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Champion quality as an embedded tester within an assigned development<br>pod.</li> <li>Create, maintain, and execute test plans within your area of focus.</li> <li>Organize and execute PC and console testing across relevant content areas.</li> <li>Conduct upstream testing directly within Unreal Editor, as needed.</li> <li>Collaborate with game designers to ensure a world-class Narrative<br>experience.</li> <li>Build strong working relationships with development partners to ensure<br>clear communication of QA processes and priorities.</li> <li>Partner with other QA team members to identify and implement process<br>improvements.</li> <li>Provide progress and status updates through clear written and verbal<br>communication.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of game QA experience as a Senior QA Analyst or equivalent role.</li> <li>At least 1 shipped AAA title in a role supporting a Narrative Design team.</li> <li>Experience with Unreal Engine (preferably UE5).</li> <li>Proven ability to create and maintain test plans using tools such as TestRail,<br>QMetry, or Zephyr.</li> <li>Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira).</li> <li>Background supporting Narrative Design teams.</li> <li>Experience providing QA support across multiple platforms.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Passion for delivering high-quality player experiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Plus If</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience directly with or supporting teams that utilize Articy.</li> <li>Experience with open world game development.</li> <li>Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.</li> <li>Proven ability to drive QA initiatives from end to end.</li> <li>Experience mentoring junior QA team members.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div id="pdf_viewer" class="p-pdf_viewer__content"> <div class="p-pdf_iframe__page" data-page-number="2"> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><strong>Description</strong></div> <div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"> <ul> <li>This is a short-term, 3-month engagement with the opportunity to extend.</li> <li>Role is on-site in Santa Monica, CA.</li> <li>Office is located near downtown Santa Monica – near metro and freeways.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The pay range for this position is $25-$30&nbsp;per hour.
