We strive to instill in all of our employees:</p> <ul> <li>A positive mental attitude that helps us to be a leader in the industry</li> <li>A commitment to building strong relationships, both inside and outside the organization</li> <li>A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to moving our strategy forward</li> <li>A need to create and to innovate</li> </ul></div><p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Employment Type: </strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Regular Full Time </span><span style="color: #000000;">Hourly&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Shift: </strong><span style="color: #000000;">1st Shift</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Status:</strong></span> Hybrid</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Position Summary</strong></span></p> <p>The Credit and Collections Specialist is responsible for monitoring accounts receivable aging reports, identifying overdue accounts, and proactively contacting customers to secure payments.&nbsp; This role supports the credit application and credit limit review process and provides coverage for the cash application process.&nbsp;</p> <p>Measures of success:</p> <ul> <li>Accurate and timely communications with customers on overdue accounts</li> <li>Maintain targeted levels of aged accounts receivable</li> <li>Successful relationships and coordination with departments outside of Finance</li> <li>Maintain accurate and organized files and records</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Monitoring accounts receivable aging reports, identifying overdue accounts, and proactively contacting customers to secure payments</li> <li>Maintains accurate records of all customer communications and payment arrangements</li> <li>Investigate and research payment discrepancies to resolve overdue invoices</li> <li>Supports the new customer set-up process and assesses credit limits as assigned</li> <li>Performs as a back-up for the Accounts Receivable Specialist</li> <li>Handles incoming calls and emails</li> <li>Provides administrative support</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience</li> <li>Proficient in financial software or accounting systems</li> <li>Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and demonstrated organizational skills in a high-volume environment</li> <li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate internally and externally to resolve discrepancies</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Associate Degree in Accounting</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing industry</li> <li>Intermediate or advanced-level Excel knowledge, including pivot tables and formulas</li> <li>Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Environment:</strong></span></p> <p>This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology.&nbsp; Verbal and auditory capability are required.
