Beam is seeking a highly talented and motivated engineering or science student interested in a career in biopharmaceutical manufacturing to join our Technical Operations team from January through June 2027 as a co-op.  The Technical Operations co-op will be responsible for supporting the cross-functional validation teams that demonstrate newly developed gene editing equipment and manufacturing processes work as intended by Beam and as required by government agencies (including FDA) for the benefit of patients. Support activities will include learning about and obtaining scientific/ technical information related to manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure integrity of data included in Technical Operations protocols and reports. As a part of these cross-functional teams, the candidate will have the opportunity to interact with various functions involved with supporting the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including R&D (process and analytical development), Manufacturing, Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT), Quality (both Quality Control and Quality Assurance), Supply Chain, and Procurement to help the candidate
