This is a pure business development role responsible for building and managing a pipeline with data center owners, land developers, and hyperscale operators, and converting those relationships into contracted work across Meade's full-service platform: MEP design, commissioning, power systems, and fire protection.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The Strategic Partner Executive will<strong> </strong>own a defined territory or named account set, maintain active relationships with ICPs at the VP level and above, and carry revenue targets across both net-new and expansion accounts. This role is expected to be in market, in front of decision-makers, and closing.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">Meade has invested in a dedicated pursuit and marketing function; CRM-driven pipeline infrastructure, account-based marketing, proposal coordination, and outbound capability built around the mission critical buyer. When an opportunity is identified, the support teams are built to move quickly.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Job Duties:</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Pipeline Development </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities across data center owners, land developers, and hyperscale accounts in your assigned market. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Build and prioritize a pipeline across Meade's full service platform based on probability, fit, and strategic value. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in CRM. Work qualified leads sourced through marketing and BDR functions.&nbsp;<br></span></li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Relationship Management </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Own relationships with key ICPs; VP of Design Engineering, VP of Construction, Director of Critical Facilities, and procurement leads at target accounts. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain active engagement with existing Meade clients to protect and grow wallet share. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Represent Meade at industry events and trade organizations relevant to the mission critical market.&nbsp;<br></span></li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Pursuit and Close </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead qualification and go/no-go decisions in coordination with Meade leadership. </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Drive pursuit strategy; positioning, messaging, resource decisions, competitive differentiation through to proposal submission and contract execution. Negotiate fee structures, scope, and contract terms.&nbsp;<br></span></li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Internal Collaboration </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner with engineering, commissioning, and power practice leads to develop client-specific value propositions and technical narratives. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Bring market intelligence on client priorities and competitive dynamics back into the firm. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Participate in account planning and monthly key account reviews with the Executive Leadership Team.&nbsp;</span><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><br></span></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of business development or sales experience in AEC, engineering services, or mission critical infrastructure.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record closing six- and seven-figure professional services contracts with data center owners, hyperscalers, or colocation operators.</li> <li>Existing relationships at the VP level or above with ICPs in the data center development or operations ecosystem.</li> <li>Deep familiarity with the mission critical project lifecycle from land acquisition through design, construction, and commissioning.</li> <li>Ability to credibly represent technical services across MEP design, commissioning, power, and fire protection without being a licensed engineer.</li> <li>Self-directed, high-output operator who manages their own time, territory, and pipeline independently.</li> <li>Disciplined CRM pipeline management and accurate forecasting.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Existing network within hyperscale development teams (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta) or major wholesale colocation platforms&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience selling across a multi-service engineering platform&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with data center power infrastructure, substation design, or utility interconnection&nbsp;</li> <li>Background in or working knowledge of commissioning processes (Cx,&nbsp;IEx, Bx)&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <p>Compensation and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may vary based on location and applicable laws. The pay range for this position will be provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
