Communicates effectively with team members to ensure a smooth transition of goods.</li> <li>Responsible for the timely unloading of inbound trailers, ensuring the careful handling of food products to prevent damage or spoilage. Adheres to safety guidelines and protocols during the unloading process.</li> <li>Conducts thorough inspections of received products to verify quantity, quality, and integrity. Report any discrepancies or damages promptly to the supervisor and follow established procedures for documentation.</li> <li>Accurately records and documents all received shipments, including product details, quantities, and any discrepancies. Maintain organized and up-to-date records for easy reference.</li> <li>Stays informed about and adhere to food safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures. Follows all guidelines related to the handling and storage of food products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li> <li>Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)</li> <li>Strong verbal communications skills</li> <li>Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation</li> <li>Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice for you to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)</li> <li>Experience working in a food based environment</li> </ul> <p>Please see here for Misfits Market's <a href="https://www.misfitsmarket.com/careers-privacy">Job Applicant Privacy Notice</a>.</p>
