Engineering Manager at Guardz

To this end, we introduced our comprehensive all-in-one platform, and continue to grow and expand our team, our partnerships and our revenue.</p></div><p class="isSelectedEnd">Guardz is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our product engineering teams, building and scaling our cybersecurity platform.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">We’re looking for a manager who is AI-first in mindset, comes from large-scale product environments, and knows how to translate product needs into scalable, reliable, and high-performing engineering solutions. You will operate in a fast-moving environment, driving execution while adapting quickly to change.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering ownership, accountability, and growth</li> <li>Promote an AI-first engineering culture, leveraging modern tools to improve velocity and effectiveness</li> <li>Drive delivery of customer-facing features with high standards for quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and speed</li> <li>Identify performance and architectural bottlenecks and drive technical decisions that support future scale and efficient data processing</li> <li>Partner closely with Product, Design, Security Research and other stakeholders to define priorities and deliver business impact</li> <li>Stay close to the team’s technical work, contributing to design, architecture, and problem-solving when needed</li> <li>Own team execution end-to-end, from planning and delivery to continuous improvement</li> <li>Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their professional and career growth</li> <li>Continuously improve development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and cloud infrastructure</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>5+ years of experience managing engineering teams</li> <li>Proven experience building large-scale products serving a significant customer base</li> <li>Strong experience with performance-sensitive systems with demanding reliability and SLA requirements</li> <li>Strong system design and architectural experience, including performance, scale and data processing; experience with multi-tenant environments is a strong advantage</li> <li>Strong product and business orientation, able to connect engineering decisions to customer and company impact</li> <li>Proven adoption of AI-first development practices</li> <li>Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments</li> <li>Strong technical background in modern software development; the specific technology stack is flexible based on relevant experience</li> <li>Hands-on capability, able to dive into technical challenges and support the team when needed</li> <li>Solid experience with cloud environments and CI/CD practices</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Lead by example</li> <li>High level of independence and ownership</li> </ul>
