You will lead and manage complex strategic sourcing engagements across all D&amp;C categories, ensuring business continuity, cost savings delivery, and high levels of supplier performance. This role engages with all relevant client stakeholders and reports directly to the Managing Director, Sourcing &amp; Procurement.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients across&nbsp;D&amp;C categories (i.e., General Contracting, Engineering, Architectural Services, etc.).&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Engage directly with client stakeholders to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;category-specific priorities and challenges, then develop&nbsp;sourcing&nbsp;strategies that effectively address&nbsp;those&nbsp;objectives.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assume full ownership of the end-to-end RFP process, including data gathering, RFP development and execution, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations,&nbsp;results of&nbsp;presentation, and support for client award decisions and supplier/client contracting.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead evaluations of&nbsp;supplier proposals&nbsp;by applying TCO modeling.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop and implement innovative cost-reduction strategies that extend beyond unit price negotiations, including value engineering and demand optimization initiatives.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead research and analytics efforts to&nbsp;validate&nbsp;savings projections and enable more precise supplier negotiations.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide first-rate customer service to ensure&nbsp;a high level&nbsp;of customer satisfaction, internal and external.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Perform necessary supplier research to stay informed in changing market trends and supplier capabilities.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Facilitate communication between client business units and suppliers to ensure effective category execution and delivery.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build and manage best-in-class supplier ecosystems&nbsp;by category and region.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Review major contracts and act as a subject matter expert for complex negotiations.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor and analyze spend, supplier performance, and savings targets at the category and sub-category levels.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;strong relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite&nbsp;partnerships.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;is&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Minimum of&nbsp;7&nbsp;years of experience in indirect procurement&nbsp;and&nbsp;strategic sourcing with deep&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in&nbsp;Design &amp;&nbsp;Construction.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proven experience developing category strategies and leading large-scale sourcing events.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong background in&nbsp;supplier&nbsp;negotiations.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prior experience interfacing with clients and/or stakeholders at all organizational levels, especially within a services industry (e.g., professional consulting, BPO,&nbsp;managed services,&nbsp;outsourcing)&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in TCO modeling and data-driven decision-making.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;and implementing value engineering and spec optimization recommendations to reduce total cost without sacrificing quality.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of supplier ecosystems serving&nbsp;Design and Construction&nbsp;categories.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel (analysis) and PowerPoint (presentations).&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Detail oriented with the keen ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business recommendations.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Entrepreneurial mindset with commitment to client service.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment; minimal travel&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Travel:&nbsp;</strong>&lt;5%&nbsp;- Some travel to client locations will be&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Other Duties:&nbsp;</strong>This Position Description is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, and the employee is expected to perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
