We’re one of the largest engineering and system integration firms in the United States providing value for our clients through IT automation and control solutions for more than 30 years to the Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals & Mining, Warehousing & Distribution, and CPG/Food & Beverage industries. Our national and global scale allows us to help our clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any of their facilities regardless of physical location or the local resources available at that site.    We’re adding to the E Tech Group Team!  We seek early-career engineers interested in mission-critical infrastructure.  As an Entry-Level Data Center Engineer, you’ll support the design, implementation, and commissioning of data center systems, working alongside experienced engineers across power, cooling, controls, and network infrastructure.  This role is hands-on and fast-paced; you’ll gain exposure to real-world projects while developing the technical and professional skills needed to grow into a fully independent engineer.  We offer clear paths to advance into Controls, Electrical, or Project Engineer roles.     You Will:   <ul> <li>Support engineering and project teams in the design and deployment of data center infrastructure systems (power, cooling, controls, and monitoring)  </li> <li>Assist with development of technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans  </li> <li>Participate in on-site activities such as system testing, startup, and commissioning  </li> <li>Help troubleshoot system issues across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems  </li> <li>Support integration of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms  </li> <li>Work with senior engineers to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and uptime expectations  </li> <li>Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to project reporting  </li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, field technicians, and client </li> <li>Be an ambassador who embodies our <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNgpHEJiRb0">Core Values</a>, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. </li> </ul>   You Have:   <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field  </li> <li>0–2 years relevant experience; internships, co-ops, and lab work preferred. </li> <li>Foundational understanding of electrical or mechanical systems  </li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment  </li> <li>Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and schematics </li> <li>Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support) </li> <li>A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork. </li> </ul>   You may have:  <ul> <li>Exposure to data center environments or mission-critical facilities  </li> <li>Familiarity with:  </li> <li>Exposure to PLC or DDC controlled data center projects </li> <li>HVAC or cooling systems.  </li> <li>PLCs, SCADA, or BMS platforms  </li> <li>Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools  </li> <li>Basic understanding of networking concepts or industrial controls  </li> <li>Internship experience with a contractor, OEM, or system integrator </li> </ul>   Benefits & Perks:  <ul> <li>401k + match + prompt enrollment.  E Tech Group employees are 100% vested upon entry. </li> <li>Prompt enrollment into Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits. </li> <li>Generous paid time off that includes paid vacation, paid holidays, paid family leave and sick time off. </li> <li>Learning and growth are key parts of the E Tech culture.
