Freelance Summer Content Associate at MLB NETWORK

<p>MLB Network seeks a Freelance Summer Content Associate to provide support to the production and media delivery processes, as assigned. The Content Associate must possess a high-level knowledge of baseball, be highly organized and have writing experience.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Write metadata in support of game highlights.</li> <li>Deliver video elements to specified recipient.</li> <li>Spot check videos on https://www.littleleague.org/world-series/ and report issues</li> <li>Communicate with internal and external partners using Slack</li> <li>Other such duties as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>0 to 1 years’ business or related experience is required.</li> <li>Must demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of baseball.</li> <li>Required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li> <li>Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Be extremely organized, demonstrate initiative and an ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner.</li> <li>Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Demonstrate the tact, diplomacy, decisiveness, and superior people skills required in a pressurized live television environment.</li> <li>Possess the manual dexterity needed to effectively create required work product.</li> <li>Possess the visual acuity needed to effectively create required work product.</li> <li>Possess the auditory acuity needed to effectively create required work product.</li> <li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li> <li>Ability to navigate distances of various lengths within the work environment.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current students or recent graduates seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcast/Journalism/Television Production degree is highly preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Reports to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervisor, Media Operations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$25/hour</p> <p>As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB Network considers relevant to the hiring decision.
