About the Role

We are seeking a results-oriented and hands-on Senior Manager, Ecommerce to lead the day-to-day operations and shopper journey for our North American and APAC online stores. Based in our Redwood City office, you will be a strategic player-coach, leading all Ecommerce efforts to engage, educate, and drive conversion. This is an ideal role for someone who excels at rolling up their sleeves, executing with excellence, and leading & developing a talented team to reach their full potential. This full-time position reports to the VP of Digital Commerce and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office. What you’ll do: Site Experience Strategy & Execution <ul> <li>Own the E-commerce Calendar: Lead the planning and execution of the NA & APAC site content calendars, ensuring timely updates for new products, campaigns, and seasonal content across all European markets.</li> <li>Optimize the Shopper Funnel: Directly manage and optimize shopper journey elements, including category page layouts, landing page strategies, navigation, filtering, and cross-sell strategies to drive conversion and engagement.</li> <li>Partner on Content & Campaigns: Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure content and storytelling align with promotional campaigns, brand tone, and seasonal themes.</li> <li>Lead Quality Assurance (QA): Lead the end-to-end QA process for all site updates and functionality across devices and regions, ensuring a seamless customer experience.</li> </ul> Team Leadership & Development <ul> <li>Mentor and Coach: Manage and mentor a small, talented Ecommerce team based in Manila, actively supporting their growth and providing coaching on core Ecommerce principles.</li> <li>Develop Processes: Build clear and repeatable processes and documentation to drive efficiency, consistency, and a culture of operational excellence across the team and time zones.</li> <li>Foster a Culture of Ownership: Empower the team to take ownership of their work, grow their analytical skills, and contribute their best to business-critical projects.  </li> </ul> Analytics & Optimization <ul> <li>Inform Strategies: Use data to track site KPIs and generate actionable insights to inform optimization decisions and report on performance to stakeholders.</li> <li>Monitor Site Performance: Own the day-to-day monitoring of NA & APAC site performance and identifying tactical opportunities for improvement.</li> </ul>  Orchestrate NA & APAC Growth <ul> <li>Act as the primary point person for the seamless execution of our NA & APAC expansion plans, including support for B2B development and future new market expansion.</li> </ul> What you bring to the table: <ul> <li>11+ years of experience in Ecommerce with deep expertise in hands-on site content planning execution.</li> <li>Proven ability to develop and mentor a team, ideally in a global context.</li> <li>A "roll up your sleeves" attitude with a customer experience mindset and a passion for tactical site optimization and execution.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into day-to-day actionable insights.</li> <li>A collaborative and proactive mindset, focused on operational excellence.</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Merchandising, Economics, General Business Management or equivalent</li> <li><span class="NormalTextRun CommentStart CommentHighlightPipeRest CommentHighlightRest SCXW47392016 BCX8" data-ccp-parastyle="Default" data-ccp-parastyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"272499da-5523-5969-b17c-4f82c0ce3910|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[469775450,"Default",201340122,"2",134233614,"true",469778129,"Default",335572020,"1",469777841,"Calibri",469777842,"Calibri",469777843,"Times New Roman",469777844,"Calibri",469769226,"Calibri,Times New Roman",335551500,"0",201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",201341986,"1",268442635,"24"]}">Demonstrated AI literacy, enabling effective understanding, interaction, and critical evaluation of AI technologies and applications across diverse business functions </li> </ul> About Us: Balsam Brands is a global, omnichannel retailer with roots in holiday and home décor. Please note that placement within the posted salary range is based on several factors, including geographic location, experience, skills, alignment with role requirements and other job-related factors.
