Learn more at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cfd-research.com">www.cfd-research.com</a></strong></p></div><p>Join the dynamic Energy Storage &amp; Electronics team at CFD Research and play a pivotal role in designing and testing custom electronics systems for both commercial and Department of War (DoW) applications. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, champions customer requirements, and drives projects forward through impactful research and development while providing technical leadership and guidance to the electrical engineering team.</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities/Opportunities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and characterize advanced electronic circuits and boards to meet product and project requirements.</li> <li>Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource coordination to meet schedule and technical objectives.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage projects with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to internal and customer status meetings.</li> <li>Present research findings, draft technical reports, and contribute to proposal development.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, supporting design reviews, problem solving, and professional development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience (5+ years of relevant experience) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and analysis.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in experimental methods, documentation practices, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal, and visual communication.</li> <li>Proficiency in circuit modeling &amp; simulation.</li> <li>Hands-on experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits including mixed-signal, signal conditioning, and power conversion designs.</li> <li>Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Experience in proposal writing.</li> <li>Creating test methods and testing high-power devices.</li> <li>Experience with creating test methods, testing, and designing protection hardware for EMI/EMC requirements.</li> <li>Experience with performing signal integrity analysis for serial communication protocols.</li> <li>Experience with performing power integrity analysis.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Benefits: </strong>CFD Research offers competitive salaries and excellent employee benefits, including an employer matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
