About the Role

<p>Proactively drive sales and services to new and existing clients by providing innovative solutions&nbsp;<br>to all of their risk management needs.</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL &amp; TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS</strong><br>&gt; Consult with clients to understand business needs and objectives; identify and qualify potential sales opportunities; create&nbsp;<br>and execute strategy independently driving consistent results.<br>&gt; Demonstrate advanced knowledge of customer industry including terminology, technology trends, challenges and&nbsp;<br>government regulations; demonstrate ability to match optimal insurance products to client’s unique business needs.<br>&gt; Build and maintain relationships founded on trust with key decision makers or potential influencers; nurture relationships&nbsp;<br>over longer sales cycle.<br>&gt; Effectively utilize all resources within department to exceed client expectations; actively collaborate with resources outside&nbsp;<br>department to maximize sales opportunities.<br>&gt; Represent company at trade association meetings, carrier forums and industry gatherings.<br>&gt; Responsible for mentoring of ‘rookie’ producers.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE</strong><br>&gt; 3-10 years experience in risk management / sales role<br>&gt; Experience in mentoring and developing new sales team members<br>&gt; Coachable and competitive entrepreneurial spirit; high degree of self-motivation and discipline<br>&gt; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated facilitation, negotiation and persuasion skills<br>&gt; Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline data and measure performance standards to ensure achievement of sales goals<br>&gt; Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION</strong><br>&gt; Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Risk Management or related business discipline<br>&gt; Property &amp; Casualty license or ability to obtain&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>JOB LOCATION</strong><br>&gt;Carmel, Indiana</p>
