This role will inherit and evolve a mature data ecosystem built over 3+ years, spanning Databricks, dbt, Airflow, AWS, Tableau, and AtScale. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and modernizing core pipelines, enabling analytics and reporting, and supporting cost-conscious, scalable data infrastructure.</p> <p class="p-rich_text_section"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(20, 111, 245);"><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Own and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and Databricks</li> <li>Develop and optimize data models in AtScale to support BI tools like Tableau</li> <li>Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, timely data</li> <li>Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance</li> <li>Support cloud infrastructure in AWS, including S3, Kafka, EC2, Lambda, and IAM policies</li> <li>Contribute to cost optimization efforts across data storage, compute, and tooling</li> <li>Document systems, processes, and tribal knowledge for continuity and onboarding</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team rituals</li> </ul> <p class="p-rich_text_section"><span style="color: rgb(20, 111, 245); font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></span></p> <div class="p-rich_text_section"> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS/BA/BE degree in a quantitative area such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering</li> <li>Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Databricks, Airflow, and AWS</li> <li>Familiarity with semantic modeling tools</li> <li>Experience building dashboards and supporting BI teams using Tableau</li> <li>Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices</li> <li>Excellent communication and documentation skills</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li> <li>Always curious and a continuous learner</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with cost monitoring tools or FinOps practices</li> <li>Familiarity with vendor integrations and API-based data sharing</li> <li>Exposure to AtScale, Tableau, or other modern data platforms</li> <li>Passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing</li> </ul> <p><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Please note: We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
