<p><strong>Technical Writer/technical Documentation Engineer</strong></p> <p><strong>Position summary:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for passionate Technical Writer responsible for contributing towards writing, editing technical documentation for the products. The engineer should self-driven and must be able to organize his/her ideas, tasks and articulate the content in the reader understandable form.</p> <p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Document technically accurate content for AppviewX products</li> <li>Research and determine the technical documentation needs for the features</li> <li>Estimate efforts and deliver content on time</li> <li>Ensure quality of the documentation&nbsp;</li> <li>Troubleshoot Git conflicts, understand architecture, manage the CMS (Content Management System)</li> <li>Execute day-to-day information engineering activities</li> <li>Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation.</li> <li>Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement.</li> <li>Experience creating infographics to more clearly communicate workflow processes and abstract topics.</li> <li>Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques.</li> <li>Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.</li> <li>Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."</li> <li>Proven experience producing technical content for public consumption.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skillset </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with authoring and publishing high-quality content in XML&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with the tools preferred: Confluence/JIRA, Git/Github/Gitlab, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.</li> <li>Hands-On experience with Oxygen XML Authoring tool</li> <li>Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.</li> <li>Strong written communication, editing, and information architecture skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines.</li> <li>AI tools for writing, content generation, and documentation automation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering/core sciences, or Masters in English Language/Technical Communication</li> <li>3-6 years of experience in technical writing, with at least 1-2 years of experience in XML-based structured authoring and Git Integrations</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
