Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity.  Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Maintain a general understanding of DEA regulations and forms, including: <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">DEA Form 222 – Order form for transferring Schedule I and II controlled substances.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">DEA Form 41 – Used for the surrender and destruction of controlled substances.</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Understand and utilize internal DES forms, including: <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Controlled Waste Form (CWF)</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Seal Verification Form</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Pickup and Destruction Checklists</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Driver Agreement Form</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Certificate of Destruction (CoD)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Shipping and Documentation <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Ensure proper handling and documentation of shipping processes, including: <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Hazardous and non-hazardous waste manifests</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Land Ban and Pre-Ship Forms</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Inventory Acquisition and Transfer <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Assist in verifying inventory records and reporting discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Witness and co-sign transfer documents to ensure compliance.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Oversee and document the loading process, ensuring proper handling of materials.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Verify trailer locks and seals before shipment.</li> </ul> Destruction Process Oversight <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Support load arrival at the destruction facility and communicate with the driver.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Follow all facility-specific safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Inspect and confirm the integrity of locks, seals, and transported materials.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Witness and document the off-loading and destruction of materials, ensuring all substances are rendered non-recoverable.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Co-sign DEA Form 41 and Controlled Waste Form (CWF) to confirm proper destruction.</li> </ul> Basic Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Knowledge of DEA regulations, hazardous waste handling, and destruction processes.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Strong attention to detail and ability to follow compliance protocols.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive materials responsibly.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Strong communication and documentation skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must have a reliable form of transportation</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis</li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">The position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
