The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor as well as a team manager, capable of driving complex projects while also mentoring and managing a team of Network Security Engineers and Consultants.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead and manage end-to-end network security projects across global enterprise environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as a technical subject matter expert on Palo Alto Networks, FortiGate, Cisco Firewalls, and Load Balancers (Citrix/F5).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design, implement, and manage security rules and configurations on Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Troubleshoot Layer 4 and Layer 7 application and connectivity issues.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Oversee Global Protect VPN configurations and support.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage firewall backups and recovery operations for business continuity.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with PMP and ITIL frameworks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for configuration changes and operational processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network security engineers and consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to present project status, security recommendations, and risk assessments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead and mentor a team of network security engineers and consultants.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Allocate tasks, review configurations, and guide the team to ensure quality and timely delivery.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct training and upskilling sessions for team members on security best practices and tools.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Drive continuous improvement initiatives across network security operations.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A Bachelor’s or Master's in one of: Computer Science or Related filed.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">8+ years of overall experience in Network Security and Project Management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto or FortiGate firewalls and Load Balancers (F5/Citrix).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In-depth understanding of Network Security, Firewalls, VPN, and advanced troubleshooting at L4-L7.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven experience managing global security infrastructure projects.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of ITIL processes, change management, and incident/problem management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in creating security rules, policy updates, and access control configurations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">NSE4 (Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Citrix (Networking / ADC)</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Gruve</strong></p> <p>At Gruve, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
