Patch walls to like new condition, hang and tape drywall, and complete preparations of surface for painting or wall hanging.&nbsp; Match paint colors, work with oil or latex paint, and mix and use epoxy paints.&nbsp; Repair vinyl and wallpaper as required.&nbsp; Complete painting of any area assigned in a timely manner.&nbsp; Hang wall covering as required. Handle flammable liquids properly, store new mineral spirits in original drum, and keep any flammable thinning materials in flammable cabinet.&nbsp; Keep brushes, rollers, etc. clean and in good working condition at all times.&nbsp; If soaking of tools is required, use flammable safety can.&nbsp; Turn in worn old tools for replacements.&nbsp; May be assigned other duties as appropriate.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent</li> <li>Valid Driver's License</li> <li>One to two years of on-the-job training in painting, plastering, taping, light carpentry and hanging wall coverings</li> <li>Ability to follow directions, as well as problem solve independently on the job</li> <li>Must possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty</li> <li>Must have good written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel between locations</li> <li>Must be able to see colors</li> <li>Requires ability to coordinate multiple painting/renovation projects at the same time</li> <li>Extensive mobility required, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 100lbs, push, pull and move supplies and equipment</li> <li>Work will be required in confined spaces for certain assignments</li> <li>Ability to concentrate on moderate detail with constant interruption required</li> <li>Must be able to understand and relate to specific ideas generally and remember tasks given to self and others over long periods of time</li> <li>Mechanical, electrical, and patient care setting</li> <li>Exposure to loud equipment noise, high voltage, moving part, hot steam lines, outdoor environment, sawdust, flammable liquids and chemicals kept in the department</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Pay range</strong>: $15.00 - $21.56 per hour</div> <div>Category: Maintenance</div>
