<h3><strong>The Position</strong></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CallRail is looking for a Design Systems Designer</span></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong><br>We’re looking for a Product Designer to support the growth and adoption of our design system across<br>web and mobile. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and documenting components, while<br>helping ensure consistent usage across the product.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with the design systems workstream and cross-functional partners to translate<br>system standards into scalable, usable outputs.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <p>Component development &amp; maintenance<br>● Build and maintain Figma components using established design system standards<br>● Ensure components include complete variants, states, and properties<br>● Apply tokens consistently across components</p> <p>Documentation &amp; guidance<br>● Translate design system decisions into clear, usable documentation<br>● Create lightweight references for component anatomy, states, and behaviors<br>● Support token-to-component mapping for improved clarity and reuse</p> <p>Design QA &amp; support<br>● Review product designs for alignment with design system standards<br>● Identify inconsistencies and recommend system-aligned solutions<br>● Partner with designers to support implementation and iteration</p> <p>Audit &amp; migration support<br>● Audit product UI to identify opportunities for standardization<br>● Support migration from legacy patterns to design system components<br>● Help consolidate redundant or inconsistent patterns</p> <p>AI prototyping workflows<br>● Prepare inputs (screenshots, annotations, context) for AI-generated prototypes<br>● Assist in refining outputs to align with design system standards<br>● Support development of repeatable workflows for scalable prototyping</p> <p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p> <p><strong>Core skills &amp; mindset</strong><br>● Strong experience building and maintaining components in Figma (variants, properties, auto<br>layout)<br>● High attention to detail and consistency in visual and interaction design<br>● Comfortable working within established systems and applying standards accurately<br>● Ability to take defined patterns and execute them cleanly and thoroughly<br>● Collaborative and responsive when working with designers and engineers</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br>● ~2–5 years of experience in product design or a related field (or equivalent hands-on<br>experience)<br>● Experience working with component-based design systems or design libraries<br>● Familiarity with developer handoff or front-end constraints</p> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong><br>● Exposure to token-based design systems<br>● Interest in improving workflows and scaling design system adoption<br>● Curiosity about AI-assisted design or prototyping workflows</p> <p><strong>How you’ll work</strong><br>● Partner closely with the design systems workstream to support system adoption<br>● Collaborate with product designers and engineers to ensure consistency<br>● Contribute to a system that supports both current product needs and future evolution</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>&nbsp;If you do not meet all the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply!
