<p>MX is looking for a dynamic Content Manager to shape and create high-impact B2B content that drives engagement, strengthens brand authority, and accelerates business growth. This is a highly versatile role at the intersection of strategy and storytelling - perfect for someone who can move seamlessly from big-picture thinking to hands-on execution across multiple formats.</p>
<p>The Content Manager will craft compelling narratives, translate complex ideas into clear and engaging content, and optimize for performance across search, AI-driven discovery, and social channels. If you are a creative visionary who excels in high-velocity settings and can pivot seamlessly between various tones, formats, and strategies, this position provides the platform to deliver significant influence across our content portfolio.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<h3>Content Strategy & Editorial Leadership</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop and lead content strategies aligned to business goals, brand positioning, and pipeline impact.</li>
<li>Define editorial pillars, messaging frameworks, and content roadmaps.</li>
<li>Conduct content audits, competitive analysis, and performance assessments.</li>
<li>Identify audience needs, search behaviors, and content opportunities.</li>
<li>Map content to customer journeys, buying groups, and decision stages</li>
</ul>
<h3>Content Creation & Execution</h3>
<ul>
<li>Own content from concept through delivery (brief, outline, draft, revisions, final)</li>
<li>Produce and edit high-quality content across formats, including:</li>
<ul>
<li>Long-form articles, whitepapers, and ebooks</li>
<li>Website and email marketing content</li>
<li>LinkedIn posts and carousels</li>
<li>Video scripts and campaign assets</li>
</ul>
<li>Adapt ideas across channels while maintaining clarity, consistency, and voice.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Storytelling & Creative Development</h3>
<ul>
<li>Shape clear, differentiated points of view and craft engaging, well-structured narratives.</li>
<li>Generate fresh angles and elevate briefs into original, high-impact content.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Performance & Optimization</h3>
<ul>
<li>Apply SEO and AEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement.</li>
<li>Structure content for search and AI-driven discovery</li>
<li>Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimize content.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration</h3>
<ul>
<li>Present content and strategy with confidence, clearly articulating rationale.</li>
<li>Partner with clients and stakeholders to align on goals, and lead content workstreams or accounts as needed.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We’re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of journalism, editorial, or content experience with a track record of performance-driven writing and editing; B2B or agency experience preferred</li>
<li>Portfolio that demonstrates a range across multiple content types and formats</li>
<li>Strong creative thinker able to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content</li>
<li>Proven ability to balance creativity with business goals and measurable outcomes</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and high editorial standards</li>
<li>Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management systems</li>
<li>Highly organized, curious, and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines</li>
</ul>
<p>Compensation Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually. MX believes it will pay this pay range for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in addition to the requirements of the position. MX reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This role qualifies for MX’s benefits offering, including medical, dental, vision, 401 (k), and paid time off.</p>
