BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Job </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work directly with various Department Leaders, Project Managers and staff to create viable and context sensitive Planning/Design solutions for projects of varied scope and scale</li> <li>Review and process complex comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, annexation, and site plan submittals</li> <li>Conducts research and prepares statistical reports on land use, physical, social &amp; economic issues</li> <li>Prepare concept plans and graphics (by hand and in digital formats)</li> <li>Produce presentation plans and construction documents for a variety of project types</li> <li>Prepare and presents reports and other findings to staff, Planning &amp; Zoning Boards, and Councils, and serving as liaison to such committees</li> <li>Prepare construction documents for complex site and land development projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements<em>:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>15+ years of experience in urban planning and design, landscape architecture, or a related field</li> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or comparable field from an accredited University</li> <li>Professional registration (AICP, RLA, CNU or other) desirable, but not required</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Lumion or other rendering software, Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Strong project management expertise with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across the company</li> <li>Experience effectively managing PLA staff in the successful completion of projects</li> <li>Ability to manage subconsultants, project deliverables, deadlines and budgets</li> <li>Dedication to sharing ideas, exploring complex planning and site design solutions</li> <li>Proven experience in planning and design of projects from conceptual design to construction documentation</li> <li>Ability and willingness to be based out of the Raleigh office</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Some of our Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting</li> <li>Merit-Based Bonus Compensation</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans</li> <li>9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays</li> <li>Personal Time Allowances&nbsp;</li> <li>2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
