If you’re ready to take the next step in your creative career, we invite you to explore the opportunities ahead.</p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are seeking a seasoned creative professional with&nbsp;<strong>at least&nbsp;2&nbsp;years of experience as a Senior Copywriter</strong>&nbsp;in an&nbsp;HCP&nbsp;centric&nbsp;agency or equivalent organization. Experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare communications is essential, including&nbsp;<strong>a minimum of 2 years managing at least one junior copywriter</strong>.&nbsp;</p> <p>A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, craft, and innovative multichannel solutions—across KOL videos, congress educational experiences, DSA campaigns, AOR campaigns for HCPs, websites, banners, and ICVAs—is required.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>The&nbsp;<strong>Copy Supervisor</strong>&nbsp;role is designed for candidates who have worked extensively within a creative agency environment—&nbsp;4-7&nbsp;years on creative teams&nbsp;—&nbsp;with&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;experience providing creative leadership, oversight, and strategic direction.&nbsp;</p> <p>The ideal candidate is ready to take a more senior role on a brand, partnering closely with art directors in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in concepting and selling ideas, presenting to clients, and executing work to exceed expectations is essential.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Copy Supervisors collaborate deeply with Account, Medical Strategy, and Technology teams. They maintain a strong copy/art partnership and can confidently represent the creative team when needed. Candidates must show a passion for producing award level creative work, a deep understanding of the medical communications business, and the ability to elevate brand storytelling through close partnership with clients, strategic teams, and scientific colleagues.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated leadership across creative and brand teams, including examples of selling innovative work to clients and driving exceptional execution.</li> <li>A strong, thoughtfully curated portfolio&nbsp;showcasing&nbsp;award-winning&nbsp;creative across all media. Candidates should be prepared to walk through projects from briefing through execution and results.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, including the strategic imperatives of brands previously supported.</li> <li>Ability to lead&nbsp;a&nbsp;team— Copywriter,&nbsp;Art&nbsp;director, studio designer&nbsp;—helping them grow while guiding the work.</li> <li>Professional presence and the ability to&nbsp;represent&nbsp;<strong>Omnicom</strong><strong>Health&nbsp;</strong>confidently with clients.&nbsp;</li> <li>BA/MA in English, Journalism, Advertising, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when needed.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Creative Leadership &amp; Concept Development</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Create comprehensive copy platforms for assigned accounts.</li> <li>Partner with art directors to develop conceptual approaches that meet client&nbsp;objectives.</li> <li>Bring strategic marketing understanding to creative development and execution.</li> <li>Review and refine copy to ensure accuracy, strategic alignment, and creative excellence.</li> <li>Present creative concepts persuasively to clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client &amp;&nbsp;Cross Functional&nbsp;Collaboration</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop a thorough knowledge of client business and therapeutic categories.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Account, Medical Strategy, and Tech teams to ensure aligned and integrated solutions.</li> <li>Maintain strong relationships with Editorial, Traffic, and other agency partners.</li> <li>Attend client meetings, status updates, research sessions, and relevant trade shows, sharing insights with team members.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Regulatory &amp; Scientific Rigor</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and&nbsp;submit&nbsp;work for Med/Legal/DDMAC review.</li> <li>Maintain familiarity with scientific and medical information&nbsp;pertaining to&nbsp;agency brands.</li> <li>Understand market research processes to help create test materials and interpret insights.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage, mentor, and supervise Junior Copywriters and Copywriters.</li> <li>Provide constructive feedback and guide professional growth.</li> <li>Oversee copy development from startup through production.</li> <li>Route copy to senior creative leaders for review as needed.</li> <li>Function autonomously&nbsp;day-to-day&nbsp;while involving leadership in major decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Operations &amp; Professionalism</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintain awareness of advertising and marketing trends.</li> <li>Work efficiently across multiple projects, setting&nbsp;priorities&nbsp;and delegating appropriately.</li> <li>Uphold agency quality standards in all client service interactions.</li> <li>Maintain&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;timesheets and foster a positive, collaborative&nbsp;team&nbsp;culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Management Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Review and approve timesheets (if applicable).</li> <li>Participate in performance evaluations and help resolve staff issues.</li> <li>Train new hires on account processes and workflows.</li> <li>Monitor daily account workloads to support operational efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PERSONAL SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have&nbsp;high standards—and we look for people who thrive within a collaborative, curious,&nbsp;excellence driven&nbsp;team. Occasional travel (less than 30%) may be required based on client needs.&nbsp;</p> <p>The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States.   Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
