This role requires strong communication skills to ensure clarity in financial matters and exceptional client service, contributing to a smooth and efficient billing process.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations for our clients.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing invoices for services provided</li> <li>Processing payments and refunds</li> <li>Maintaining precise financial records that meet company and legal standards</li> <li>Coordinating with pet insurance companies for claims submissions and reimbursement tracking</li> <li>Preparing financial reports</li> <li>Helping clients understand payment options, including third-party financing such as CareCredit</li> <li>Partnering with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication around client accounts</li> <li>Providing exceptional customer service by addressing billing questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion</li> </ul> <p>Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help clients feel informed and supported every step of the way.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You Have</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in financial coordination, medical billing, or veterinary billing (preferred)</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach</li> <li>Proficiency in financial management systems, practice management software, and general office technology</li> <ul> <li>Experience with Excel, Instinct, and Xero is a plus</li> </ul> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks</li> <li>A passion for animals and the veterinary field</li> <li>Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week; some weekends may be required</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What We Offer</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Remarkable Culture</strong>-We work well as a team and are all about supporting each other while encouraging your career development!
