Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading a team to deliver high-quality, client-focused veterinary services.</li> <li>Promoting preventive care and ensuring compliance with veterinary standards and Heart + Paw protocols.</li> <li>Acting as a role model and brand champion for Heart + Paw within the community.</li> <li>Guiding and mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff to enhance skills and patient care.</li> <li>Communicating effectively with clients, utilizing technology for telemedicine, texting, and email.</li> <li>Collaborating with the Center Director to manage team hiring, training, and scheduling.</li> <li>Participating in planning, budgeting, and financial performance reviews, sharing insights with Heart + Paw leadership.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Veterinary medical degree with a license in good standing with the applicable state board.</li> <li>A minimum of 4-5 years of clinical experience and a strong client-focused approach.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership experience and an interest in practice ownership.</li> <li>Proven ability to build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service.</li> <li>Interest in leveraging technology to advance veterinary practices and improve the client/pet experience.</li> <li>Highly collaborative with strong business acumen, financial insights, and a consumer-centric mindset.</li> <li>Fear Free and HABRI certification (or a desire to obtain these).</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Heart + Paw</strong><br>Heart + Paw was founded on the belief that veterinary professionals deserve a workplace where they can thrive and be happy, healthy, and successful.
