Under general direction, you will support project teams by providing critical schedule insights, identifying risks, and driving schedule performance across the full project lifecycle.</p> <p>In this role, you will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and project controls professionals to ensure alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives. You will play a key role in schedule development, progress tracking, forecasting, and performance analysis while contributing to continuous improvement in scheduling practices and tools.</p> <p><strong>Your Day-to-Day Activities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules from pre-construction through project completion</li> <li>Collaborate with project teams to establish baseline schedules and execution plans</li> <li>Lead planning sessions and scheduling workshops to define project sequencing and logic</li> <li>Update schedules based on field progress and validate accuracy through site coordination</li> <li>Analyze schedule performance, including critical path, float, and key variances</li> <li>Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines</li> <li>Develop forecasting models using production rates and resource data</li> <li>Create “what-if” scenarios to evaluate schedule impacts and recovery plans</li> <li>Support cost and schedule integration through resource loading and performance tracking</li> <li>Prepare and present schedule updates, reports, and analysis to project stakeholders</li> <li>Document schedule changes and support claims avoidance and project documentation efforts</li> <li>Assist in the development and use of 4D scheduling models when applicable</li> <li>Mentor team members and support scheduling best practices across projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field</li> <li>3+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls</li> <li>Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for construction or infrastructure projects</li> <li>Working knowledge of scheduling methodologies, sequencing, and project execution planning</li> <li>Familiarity with cost and schedule integration, forecasting, and performance tracking</li> <li>Ability to analyze schedule data and communicate insights clearly to project teams</li> <li>Experience supporting projects from planning through execution and closeout</li> <li>Willingness to travel and work on-site at project locations as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>You’ll stand out if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools</li> <li>Experience supporting large-scale or complex infrastructure or industrial projects</li> <li>Exposure to construction logistics, resource planning, and field coordination</li> <li>Experience developing 4D schedules or working with schedule visualization tools</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to schedule performance</li> <li>Experience mentoring or training team members on scheduling best practices</li> <li>Ability to present schedule analysis to project leadership or stakeholders</li> </ul> </div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div> <div><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>$80,000-$110,000 annual salary</li> <li>Paid holiday, sick, and vacation time</li> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage</li> <li>Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)</li> <li>401(k) with Company Match</li> <li>Annual Bonus</li> <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li> <li>Paid Parental Leave</li> <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSAs)</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div><strong>About TD Thornton</strong></div> <div>Since 2005, TD Thornton has been helping our clients bridge organizational gaps by providing best-in-class consulting services and staff augmentation.
