Reporting to the Melbourne Survey Manager, you will be executing precise surveying tasks on built-form construction projects. This role involves set out, verification, as built and documentation of survey data to support engineering and construction projects.  You will be:  <ul> <li>Performing calculations, set out, as-builts and verification tasks for structural elements, gridlines, and services on built-form projects.  </li> <li>Providing accurate plans, measurements, calculations, and reports to support engineering and construction teams. </li> <li>Managing survey equipment, software, and data management systems (e.g.Leica, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) </li> <li>Using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, theodolites) to measure angles, distances, and elevation. </li> <li>Leading and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals. </li> </ul> We’re looking for someone who has:  <ul> <li>University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying. </li> <li>A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, specifically in high-rise or built-form projects. </li> <li>Extensive knowledge of surveying instruments and software (e.g., 12d software, AutoCAD, Leica Survey equipment) </li> <li>A valid driver’s license and White Card. </li> <li>Experience in communicating with clients and understanding their requirements. </li> <li>Ability to multitask and work independently. </li> </ul> With this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening. Periodic drug testing may be required per company policy.  Desirable experience:  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Experience in major infrastructure, civil or commercial construction projects in Australia. </li> </ul> Woolpert Benefits  <ul> <li>Woolpert’s Principal Program gives employees the opportunity to become company stakeholders and share in the company’s growth and success. </li> <li>Employees receive automatic Salary Continuance Insurance provided by Woolpert. </li> <li>Novated leasing and salary sacrifice options are available to help employees make the most of their income. </li> <li>Discounted corporate health insurance through Bupa. </li> </ul> As this is a full-time role, this role requires individuals with Full Working Rights in Australia. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.   If you believe you might be a good fit and would like to join our Woolpack, click on the APPLY NOW button to submit your application. If you don’t meet all the preferred qualifications for this position, we encourage you to still apply!   #LI-KS2   <div class="content-conclusion">Find out more about what Woolpert has to offer here:  <a href="http://woolpert.com/about-us/">http://woolpert.com/about-us/</a> Woolpert is an equal-opportunity employer.
