From logistics and information technology to cybersecurity and facilities operations, we are united by a single purpose: to generate meaningful economic opportunity and sustainable growth for the Tlingit &amp; Haida Tribes of Alaska.</p> <p style="line-height: 2;"><span style="color: rgb(35, 111, 161);"><strong>Together We Grow – One Mission, One Team – With a Commitment to Serve</strong></span></p></div><p><strong>Subsidiary:&nbsp;</strong>T&amp;H Services</p> <p><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Electrician Maintenance</p> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Tucson, AZ  &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Labor Category: </strong>Non-Exempt | SCA&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Clearance Level: </strong>Public Trust&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Travel: </strong>less than 25%&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay Rate:&nbsp;</strong>$28.56</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Maintenance Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, distribution, lighting, or utilization of electric energy.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems.</li> <li>Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, layouts, and specifications to plan and assign work effectively.</li> <li>Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.</li> <li>Perform calculations related to electrical loads, wiring requirements, and system performance.</li> <li>Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.</li> <li>Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.</li> <li>Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed.</li> <li>Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned (e.g - HVAC, General Maintenance,etc.)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li data-section-id="1v2jxj5" data-start="90" data-end="152">Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical codes.</li> <li data-section-id="1t3pymx" data-start="153" data-end="309">Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.</li> <li data-section-id="vez4wp" data-start="310" data-end="411">Ability to follow maintenance instructions, schedules, and work order requirements with accuracy.</li> <li data-section-id="5aujy5" data-start="412" data-end="540">Skilled in performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing system or equipment malfunctions, and completing necessary repairs.</li> <li data-section-id="1n8fmm5" data-start="541" data-end="663">Working knowledge of the design, operation, and installation of electrical systems, circuits, equipment, and controls.</li> <li data-section-id="qfnqa9" data-start="664" data-end="763">Ability to plan, layout, install, modify, and repair electrical systems and related components.</li> <li data-section-id="ojv8os" data-start="764" data-end="868">Ability to read and interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.</li> <li data-section-id="axd6r8" data-start="869" data-end="986">Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, and ohmmeters.</li> <li data-section-id="r46cco" data-start="987" data-end="1061">Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance.</li> <li data-section-id="6uuxp5" data-start="1062" data-end="1163">Must maintain all required licenses and certifications; EPA Refrigeration Certification required.</li> <li data-section-id="v4thhx" data-start="1164" data-end="1219">Ability to maintain access to government worksites.</li> <li data-section-id="h95dhh" data-start="1220" data-end="1358">Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record in accordance with company policy; CDL may be required for certain positions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.</li> <li>Must be able to work from a scissor lift and/or articulating boom lift.</li> <li>Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
